‘Manchester United Would Be Weaker Without Paul Pogba’ – Soccer Laduma

Despite Paul Pogba having been subjected to a lot of criticism of late, a former Manchester United manager believes the team would be far weaker without the superstar midfielder.

‘Pogba Will Be Forgiven Like Ronaldo Was’

While it appears increasingly unlikely that the 26-year-old will leave United before the end of the European transfer window, he is still being linked with Real Madrid and Juventus.

Ex-United boss David Moyes, however, feels the club should do everything they can to hang on to the Frenchman, whom he feels the team is stronger with than without.

“I think Manchester United should keep Pogba because he is one of the top players in the world,” the Scot said on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

“He has got really good ability. He might have just needed a bit of time to settle.

“I think it has been unsettling because of the way him or his agent have come out and said he wants to move again.

“But if you look at Manchester United’s midfield on Sunday, not having Paul Pogba would have made them much weaker.”
